WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THE EQUITYKEY PROGRAM?

1. Each qualified owner can receive debt-free* cash equal to 12-15% of home value

2. No closing costs are involved - just a simple application free (refundable if not qualified or in program funds)

3. All property types may qualify (primary residence, rental, commercial, or second home)

4. It is not a loan ( unlike a reverse mortgage that creates additional debt)

5. Only one homeowner must qualify, but both may apply to participate and receive money

6. No Credit Score requirement

HOW DO I QUALIFY FOR EQUITY KEY?
At least one homeowner must:

1. Be 65-85 years old

2. Owe less than 70% of the home's value 

3. Have a property value (and/or combined properties value) of $500k

4. Be in good health (not Type 1 diabetes, no smokers, no recent bouts with cancer and no uncontrolled high blood pressure or severe cardiac issues)

 

WHY DO I NEED TO BE IN GOOD HEALTH?
EquaityKey bears significant risk if a client were to pass away shortly after receiving their payment and before the real estate has had time to appreciate. In order to mitigate this risk, EquityKey purchases, pays for, and holds a life insurance policy on the qualified participant.
